About Us

Global Women’s Coalition for Quds and Palestine

Women are one half of society. With their hands, they raise men, and with their ingenuity, they build a society capable of giving and taking on challenges. We know the importance of her role and how effective she is in society. We believe in her ability to leave a positive impact on society and plant her message in mobilizing human energies present in Arab and Islamic communities. We wish to support Palestinian women and preserve their steadfastness, for they are our generous mothers who have birthed the most noble of knights and the bravest of me. They are the olives of Al-Quds, they are the sweet-scented plants that grow on this earth.

For that, and in order to unify the efforts of the women everywhere to support Al-Quds and Palestine, the Global Women’s Coalition for Quds and Palestine was formed in 2014.

We are a non-profit organization that collaboratively works on mobilizing efforts and galvanizing and incentivizing the women and girls of the Ummah to do their roles in supporting Al-Quds as well as the cause, land, people, and sanctities of Palestine. Plus, their roles in preserving the Palestinian people, strengthening their steadfastness, meeting their needs and improving their conditions.

Vision

We strive towards excellence in mobilizing the women and children of the Ummah, and achieving communication between those working to support Al-Quds and Palestine.

Our Goals

Having the women of the Ummah support the steadfastness of Palestinian and Maqdisi women and providing them with the necessary requirements for steadfastness.

Mobilizing and unifying the efforts of global institutions in solidarity with Palestinian rights as well as networking and partnering with them in order to support Palestinian rights.

Symbolizing effective female figures in serving and supporting the Palestinian cause.

Creating a model for an effective Women’s Coalition meant to be emulated at the state and country levels.

Training effective and influential women, and providing them with the necessary experience and skills so that they are prepared to work for Palestinian wherever they are.

Maintaining communication and coordination between members of the Global Women’s Coalition for Quds and Palestine and their counterparts residing in Palestine.

Providing the necessary assistance and support, especially to newly established women and children’s institutions that work to support Palestinian women and children.

Supporting media work for Palestinian women, strengthening the communication network and exchanging experiences and information between members of the coalition and sister institutions.

The struggle of women for the liberation of Al-Quds and Palestine, including the liberation of Palestinian women and children, is a collective struggle that must be waged through concerted efforts, regardless of geographical differences. The Palestinian liberation struggle is a multifaceted one, requiring diverse methods, integrated roles, and the mobilization of the energies and capabilities of women worldwide, each according to her position, specialization, and sphere of influence. It is the Global Women's Coalition for Quds and Palestine (GWCQP)’s responsibility to call upon all women of the world to engage in this just cause and actively contribute to this noble struggle, for we believe that by uniting women’s forces around the world, we will hasten the liberation of Al-Quds and Palestine, inshallah.

The Palestinian cause—the central cause of the Ummah—is going through a critical juncture that requires the concerted efforts of all its members. Since women are among the most important pillars of society and indispensable, the coalition seeks to mobilize and unite all women's energies to elevate the level of effort exerted by the women of the Ummah to shoulder the great responsibility that awaits them, a responsibility for which they will sacrifice everything. This is a sacred duty for all, requiring continuous and sustained work that yields lasting and tangible results.

At the Global Women Coalition for the Support of Al-Quds and Palestine, we firmly believe that women play a central and transformative role in carrying the causes of justice and defending human rights, foremost among them the cause of Al-Quds and Palestine. Guided by this conviction, we work to unify women’s efforts around the world within a clear vision and a shared mission that focuses on empowering women, supporting Palestinian women, and strengthening the presence of the Palestinian cause in regional and international forums. The Coalition serves as a collaborative platform that brings together women from diverse backgrounds and experiences, united by a deep belief in the justice of the cause and a shared moral and humanitarian responsibility toward the Palestinian people. Through impactful programs and initiatives, we strive to transform solidarity into action and commitment into tangible outcomes that serve Al-Quds and Palestine and contribute to building a more just and aware global community.
