On November 21, 2025, the Global Women’s Coalition for Quds and Palestine participated in the “Pioneers of Change” event, organized as part of the women’s programs during the Jamaat-e-Islami conference in Lahore, Pakistan. This participation comes within the framework of the Coalition’s efforts to enhance the presence of Muslim women at international events and highlight their leading role in supporting the causes of the Ummah.
The event witnessed a prominent presence of Coalition leaders, including the Coalition’s President, Ms. Nour Jannah Halawani, along with the Deputy Secretary-General, Ms. Asma Al-Ahmad, and the Secretary-General for the Asia-Pacific region, Dr. Fawzia Al-Hassan. Their presence contributed to amplifying the voice of Palestinian women and strengthening communication with participating women’s delegations from various countries.
The meeting addressed the importance of women’s role in leading societal change and the necessity of unifying women’s efforts globally to support humanity and alleviate injustice against peoples, especially the Palestinian people.
This participation comes as an extension of the coalition’s approach to building international partnerships, enabling the role of Muslim women in just causes, and enhancing their presence in influential global forums.
