Palestine Participates in the 7th General Assembly of the Al-Zahraa Forum for Moroccan Women in Rabat
Palestine took part in the proceedings of the 7th General Assembly of the Al-Zahraa Forum for Moroccan Women, held in Rabat, as part of its efforts to strengthen its regional presence and consolidate its partnerships with active women’s organizations across the Arab and Islamic world.
The 7th General Assembly convened to renew the Forum’s leadership structures and elect a new president, in the presence of a wide audience of women leaders and participants representing various human rights and social sectors.
The Coalition was represented at the event by its Secretary-General, Ms. Rabab Awad, who delivered a speech highlighting the importance of unifying the efforts of Arab and Islamic women’s organizations in support of Al-Quds and Palestine, and in bolstering the resilience of Palestinian women under the current difficult humanitarian circumstances.
Ms. Awad stressed that the Coalition’s participation in the Rabat conference falls within its strategic plan to enhance joint cooperation, expand its network of alliances, and activate regional partnerships that support the Palestinian cause and strengthen the role of women in advocacy and resilience.
