As part of its official visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina, a delegation from the Global Women's Coalition for Quds and Palestine visited the Mothers of Srebrenica and Zepa Association on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, in the capital, Sarajevo.
The delegation was headed by the Secretary-General of the Coalition, Ms. Rabab Awad, and included the First Deputy Secretary-General, Ms. Asma Al-Ahmad, and the Regional Director, Ms. Sana Mohammed, as well as Dr. Naima Bin Yaich and Dr. Naziha Maarij, representatives of the Al-Zahraa Forum for Moroccan Women.
During the visit, the delegation listened to a presentation from representatives of the Association about the suffering of the mothers and survivors of the Srebrenica massacre, the Association's role in documenting the crimes and violations committed against civilians during the war, and its ongoing efforts to achieve justice and international accountability.
The coalition delegation expressed its profound humanitarian solidarity with the mothers of Srebrenica and Zepa, emphasizing that the plight of women affected by war and aggression is a shared humanitarian issue that transcends borders, and that the suffering of women in Srebrenica and Gaza is characterized by the pain of loss, resilience, and the demand for justice.
At the end of the meeting, both sides stressed the importance of strengthening humanitarian cooperation and coordination among women's organizations worldwide to uphold the values of peace and justice, reject impunity, and defend the rights of women and children in conflict zones.
