As part of its official visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina, a delegation from the Global Women's Coalition for Quds and Palestine visited the Nahla Center for Education and Research in Sarajevo on the evening of Monday, November 3, 2025.
The delegation was headed by the Secretary-General of the Coalition, Ms. Rabab Awad, and her First Deputy, Ms. Asma Al-Ahmad. The delegation also included the Regional Director, Mr. Sana Mohammed, as well as Dr. Naima Bin Yaich and Dr. Naziha Maarij, representatives of the Al-Zahraa Forum for Moroccan Women.
The delegation was received by several members of the center's staff, who gave a presentation on the center's programs in the field of women's empowerment and development—scientifically, culturally, and socially—as well as showcasing examples of the educational and training activities and projects implemented by the center.
The visit included constructive discussions on ways to enhance cooperation and exchange expertise between the two sides, particularly in the fields of education, scientific research, and women's empowerment, thereby strengthening women's role in supporting the Palestinian cause and defending Al-Quds.
At the end of the meeting, the coalition’s delegation expressed its appreciation for the efforts of the Nahla Center in advancing women and society, emphasizing the importance of continued communication and coordination on future projects of mutual interest.
